Travel with Virgin and you'll have some decent chow.

Alternatively, travel with a virgin and you won't notice...

Right... I flew Contenental and they just about throw the stuff at you every few hours. You get so full on the plane you dont want to eat for a good half day.

Are you some sort or wierdo???;)

Having said that I flew business class from the states overnight and the bacon roll I got for breakfast was quite nice - but then it should be at £3000 a ticket! I got upgraded BTW before you all think I'm rich:D

Ant, how do you think of this stuff and more to the point, W H Y ?

Airplane food is disgusting but fortunately I'm scared of flying (or more accurately of crashing) so don't often get to sample it. I reckon it's on a par with those sandwiches you can buy in the sweet/magazine shops on motorway service areas.

Last time I did a long haul it was with Emirates, no complaints at all about the food apart from there not being enough of it

Yeah the 1st time I went to sweden, we got upgraded to business class. spent the entire flight knocking back the free champane and hiding as many bottles in our hand luggage as possible :) I'd also brought a bottle of Jack Daniels from the duty free when we used to have it. guess who got pulled for a search by the swedish customs:rolleyes: A very stern looking woman put my bag through a scanner and said ahhh liquor and smiled, while 8 bottles of champane variouse minitures and a litre of jd went through  she seemed almost happy at my collection. And they let me keep it :D
