I am looking for a car for the wife.
Got a budget of £2k
She has a Mk IV astra at the moment, but keeps conplaining that it is too dull.
Needs to be smallish, practical i.e. decent sized boot.
I am struggling to think of something that is cheap, practical and fun.

Any ideas guys:sxoc:

MX5 is fun, the boot is supprising for the size of car,

how big of boot does she need?

mx5's really are one of the best all rounders if you dont need 4 seats if you do need 4 seats then how about an s14 ? ;)

She had a 1.8 323F and loved it to bits but wrote it off a couple of months ago. Can't find another 1.8 in good nick at the moment.

I am seriously considering MX5 but probably not practical enough with me having the S14.
Although 1 of the options I am considering is selling the 200 and buying a mx5 for her. I have suggested her having the 200 to us during the week and me using the astra, but she is scared to death of the 200sx:wack:

MX5 if she doesn't need 4 seats or a big boot, Civic VTi if she does :)
