They´re called varanus exanthimaticus(stäppvaran in Swedish).

I was looking for something that resembled the komodo dragon and that hit the spot...Was told by the clerk that you have to raise em like a german shephard:D

i think they will grow to 1,5 metres (yep i guess noone will bother me when i´m out on a walk with me beast :D)

My two labs are brilliant - they live with 8 cats and are on a horse yard daily. Never walk them on a lead as not necessary where i live but great to train as well.

They follow me out when i take my horse on hacks - lick the horses etc too. Not aggressive in anyway. But are very protective of the house (their territory) they yard also - they would deffo protect if needed.

I think most breeds can turn out to be cracking companions if the owner treats them correctly. Animals aren't born bad they are mad bad

We have two Chinese Water Dragon. We got them about 8 months ago now and they are about 18 months old. We think that they are both male, which is a bit of a problem, as males tend to fight with each other:(

They are about 18 inches long from nose to tail. One is called Franky and one Louie.

They live in a big Vivarium, with branches and water to swim in. They love to climg the curtains and sit on top of the curtain pole:)

Cute little things that grow up to 3 feet long:cool:
