Driving home from work tonight pull up at some traffic lights and in the lane next to me comes this knackered old Orion 1.4 in various shades of rust. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/eek.gif

On the boot is an immaculate Supra spoiler. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/cool.gif The 12 year old lad behind the wheel is revving the engine and making it clear that he wants a race.

I can't stop laughing however. I look in my mirror and a chap in a S Type is killing himself too. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Lights go green, 12 year old blasts off about 2 feet and stalls it. Car behind him goes up his *rse. http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/cwm/cwm/crying.gif

Fantastic. Best laugh I've had behind the wheel with my clothes on. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Anyone else come across anything ridiculous on the roads?

LOL http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Funniest thing I've seen recently is a 2CV parked at the hospital where I work. Bright yellow, green and blue paintwork (like a polo harlequin if you've ever seen one of those), twin headlight conversion, huge exhaust and Rabbit mascot on the bonnet.

What a w*nker

Bright red VW Golf Diesel with go faster stripes in Yellow over the roof and bonnet, with a playboy sticker on the back and tinted black windows, driven by a bloke with greying hair (about 60 odd) playing line dancing music at full pelt. ( he was wearing a reversed baseball cap too!!!!) Are we living in the twighlight zone I ask??. And he comes from the Chiselhurst area.

The best one ever was something my sister saw.... a Reliant Robin steaming up to a round about, turning left onto it and tipping straight onto its side and sliding onto the roundabout. The driver climbed out of the passenger door, pushed the car (?) upright, got back in and drove off cool as a cucumber. Bloody hilarious. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well, a couple spring to mind straight away!

1: Kia, of some sort, maybe a Pride. Large "Kia" logo graphics on the side and bonnet. He also had a racing number! Car looked and sounded standard (even the steel wheels!) apart from a gold clamp on tailpipe. You got to give the owner credit for a sense of humour though http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

2: Older (Mk IV) white Ford Escort with ill fitting widebody kit. Engine sounded like a 1.3 CVH to me. With RS Cosworth badges and a "whale tail" or whatever. Hilarious http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/rolleyes.gif
