Why is no one replying to my membership queries???

I filled out the form on the main site and posted off my cheque in July.

Posted on the 'membership delays' sticky thread, asking about whether my cheque was ok a few times as it was a credit card cheque... got no reply.

Sent an email through the main site asking the same... got no reply.

Got my statement in stating the cheque has been cashed. So asked again on the 'membership delays' thread. Wanted to make sure it was cashed by the club... got no reply.

Sent a PM to Little Jim, asking the same... got no reply.

I thought that if the cheque has been cashed that I would have recieved an email conformation of this?

Would someone in authority please reply to this, as I'm starting to get paranoid that this is all a dream and I'm going to wake up soon still driving my old Prelude :wack:

OK, the problem is that Little_Jim who was doing the memberships has become snowed under with work, life, building his car, doing the techy stuff on the BB and of course the memberships.

So Ken is taking over processing the memberships and hopefully this will get things up and running properly within a couple of weeks or so.

Hi, I have noticed the same with my membership too.

I've been a fully paid SXOC member with membership pack for several months now, and I only recently signed up on the forum but still have non-member by my name and can't see the members' area. Help!

It explains this in the membership pack and in the FAQ in this section. When memberships are processed, we check to see if if the new member is registered on the club forum, if they are, access to the members area is granted straight away, if you register on the forums after you have joined the club then this will not happen and you need to email/PM me so I can give access

A membership person will be needed to sort this out, but if you paid to join the club in January and then signed up to the forum in April, there'll be a mixup there.
Most folks are on the forum before joining the club and the details are easier to sort that way round :nod:

Sorted now, the members database and the forum database are entirely seperate so if you sign up to the forum after you join the club you need to PM myself or Bob to change your access. :)
