ive just paided up, woohoo, wen and how will i know u guys have got my bucks :)
It's usually done faster, but leave it 28days before chasing. It says so here: http://www.sxoc.com/site/reg/index.php
New memberships get a bit bonkers as JAE gets closer, so if anyone else is thinking about it, don't leave it until July :no:

It usually happens closer to one hour than 28 days :nod:

OK I'll be less subtle.
It'll take a few days, maybe 14 days, 28 days as a maximum.
One hour, or one day is unreasonably fast. Dr Bob sorts new memberships, is a doctor, and for my tax dollar had better be working every hour curing people.

Hi,quick query,i know its all voluntary,but mine still says non-member after about a month n a bit of waiting, it still says non-member when i post, but im on the members list on the home sxoc page! Just wondering whats the crack?Plus, how do i access the Members area that i cant see anywhere?

registered 2006:) . it's my mistake somewhere i think - maybe as simple as not saving the user options. i've checked other memberships processed at the same time and they're ok:)

I paid my membership fee via paypal about 9 days ago but still appear as a non-member and cant see the members section. I am a returning member if that makes any difference. I apologise if im enquiring a little soon as i realise these things can take a while to sort out.

Just renewed my membership early last week by paypal (sorry forgot it was due for renewal) but still can't see the members area and have my pm's ltd to 85. also showing as a non member

Am listed on the home page SXOC members list under S14 as Graham L & have filled in some of the car details so far.
It didn't let me use Graham L (right or wrong?) for forum & in my haste to try it again Google auto fill put most of my private e-mail address down as my forum login name!! Can't see any way of changing it at my end, can anything be done, what have i done wrong? Sorry to cause hassle,but appreciate any help ASAP!

we do ask that you allow 28 days for processing although in reality the turnaround time is a lot shorter than that generally. renewals are in a minor state of flux atm as Spesh is taking them over.

Not being funny mate, but how do you expect the membership guys to know you have registered on the forum when you use a different username to the one you joined the club with?, they're not psychic.

...i should warn you that there may be a slight delay in sorting your full members access as i'm going to visit family in Ireland tomorrow and so my internet access will be compromised - sorry about that...

It's all very well asking more nicely than most folks do, but there's still the small matter of a payable fee, and an (up to, but usually less than) 28 day processing time.

pm sent to bob's s14a - i'm sure Jon's comment was meant playfully rather than insultingly - he's a Yorkshireman so struggles sometimes with humour:)

for clarification, activation of memberships is actually a fairly time-consuming job, hence our request that folk allow 28days. in reality the wait is nowhere near that long, and i'm generally managing to get New Memberships turned around on a bi-weekly basis.

as far as i'm aware Spesh is managing to get renewals out at weekends, but works away from home during the week.

please bear with us - we are doing this voluntarily, in between work and family commitments, and i don't think we're doing too bad at it:)
