i want to change the dials mate
i can only can speak for changing the dials on a s14, but the original ones are cut away & the new ones have slightly larger holes that let them slide over the needles. dont know if this is the case with all cars.

hmmmm, on the s13 I think im gonna have to remove them. the new ones are cut way but the oldones aren't.
Don't do it!!
I went through three sets of clocks trying to change the dials - I don't think it's possible without breaking the needles. They're spring loaded and as soon as the needle comes off, the spindle spins around and that's a set of clocks dead :wack:
Seriously, I don't think it's possible :(
did the new ones come with fitting instructions?
havent gone through them, but there should be some answers in here...http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/search.php?searchid=3946728
Or you could not bother wasting your time - you can't remove the needles without killing your clocks
DONT DO IT You will kill your clocks mate i tried it and ruined mine :annoyed: , the needles NEVER go back in the same place :( think i was doing 25mph on idle

silly nissans.. :) let the car warm up, make a note/take a photo of the positions... a teaspoon either side of the needle lever up and pop, off they come... new needles push on in the same position as the original, using photos for guidance.... gotta love mazda :D :p
