An email from them
Hi Jerry / 200sx owners!
We would be happy to welcome you on board in the Japanese / Modified section of the Southwest Festival of Motoring.
The number of cars you would like to bring is not really an issue as we can adapt the space accordingly for you incorporating Gazebo etc and you would all be able to park together. SIDC are bringing over thirty Scoobies and Southwest Scoobies have nearly 20 so that gives you an idea of the space we have available just in the Jap section!
Ideally we would need to know your final numbers by May 31st for the site plan. Obviously this can be adapted slightly as circumstances change but a good estimate on car numbers would be great. Once you have this information, the easiest way forward is to complete the online exhibitor form at www.swfestivalofmotoring.co.uk with your details and we will do the rest.
Here are the essential details for the event:
Date: Sunday 15 July
Venue: Taunton Racecourse (5 Mins from M5 junction 25). Additional directional information can be viewed at www.tauntonracecourse.co.uk if required. Full address is Taunton Racecourse, Orchard Portman, Taunton, Somerset, TA3 7BL.
Time: Exhibitor entry between 6am and 9am please. Event is open to the public between 10am and 4pm and we ask vehicles to stay in position until 4pm please.
Exhibitor Deadline: May 31
Website: www.swfestivalofmotoring.co.uk
Exhibitor Cost: Just £3 per car (not per person) payable on the day with 50% of the fee going directly to Cancer Research UK.
Event Details: A multi-vehicle type event open to all. Classics, Modified, Vintage, Bikes, Jap Performance, Sports you name it, it’s here. The 2006 exhibitor total has already been exceeded.
What’s going on?: Hundreds of Motors, Trade confirmed include Subaru, Volkswagen, A & M and Mitsubishi. Aerobatic wing walking stunt display, Fire & Rescue accident demonstration, competitions, dedicated family area with Bouncy Castle, Golf, Tennis and even Archery! Most importantly there is a licensed bar on site ran by Somerset’s Cotleigh Brewery featuring award winning Beers.
If you have any questions then please get in touch. Thanks for your interest and I look forward to welcoming the SXOC on board in the near future.
Kind Regards,
Claire White

Hi Jerry,
Are you able to confirm that you would like a pitch for SXOC at the Southwest Festival of Motoring 2007?
If so, How many vehicle passes do you require and who / where would you like them sending?
If you could let us know asap that would be great.
Thanks,
Chris

I have been asked to make this a sticky by Mammoth the SW rep as we are working together, we need 20 cars hopefully 10 from each area. A banner and marque are being organised. Can we start a definate list of intrested people please
I would also like to arrange a convoy as mattlake mentioned and to meet up with the SW gang before we arrive at the show
Cheers Jerry
