Putting this here as it's for my red top SR20DET powered PS13, so might be more relevant to either set of owners :)
When I hit just under 7k rpm in 3rd, the power gets completely cut. It's different to the limiter, which I can hit in 2nd no problem at about 7.5k rpm. It's also not the speed limiter, as I have done over 120mph in top (on a private track).
So firstly I don't know what this is, secondly the behavior of the car after is bizarre. With WOT there is boost showing on the boost gauge but NO power :no: Once you come off the throttle and then go back on, the power comes back in :wack:
There's no smoke when this happens, no misfiring, just no power but full boost :( It's not a major issue as I can change up before 7k in 3rd :ghey: :D but it is very confusing :confused:
I'm guessing this may be ECU related rather than anything mechanical but TBH I've no real idea, so any thoughts appreciated :sxoc: :notworthy
