Ok 10 years ago i went along with him to test drive a DC2 when they first came out (i was only 11). He was gonna buy one brand new and absolutely loved the way it handled and reved like fook. But as he would be sharing it with my Mom, she thought it was too low and didnt like the fact it only had 2 doors

They now have seperate cars and my Dad is going straight down the Integra route and he never even new about the new DC5 model!

My questions are, did they make a UK version? As all the ones i have seen, seem to imports. And what faults if any should i be looking out for when viewing one with him. I think he's looking for one with around 30k probably and 2004 ish.

Thanks in advance :)

as already said, JDM only, but let that put him off.

Parts (standard & after market) are readily available.

Same engine as the Civic type R with around 215 bhp standard.

a harder ride than a UK CTR, a little more jittery on the roads, with what feels like a notchier gearbox too.

BUT...

What an amazing car, i went to get one of these just before i was introduced to the 200SX :sxoc:

Earlier V-tecs had probs with ignition pack in the dizzy but it's not common at all on the later K20a versions.

i can't say i've read or heard of any 'common' faults.

they wont go wrong so long as you drive it with a degree of care, like any other car - you abuse it too much and it wont last 1500 miles
