yesterday i spent most of my afternoon trying to get the engine out of my quad.
you could say it'll be easy, get the plastics of for better access, undo 4 bolts and lift the fcuker out.
well i wish it was that simple.
as my brother is building a 'treehouse', he always nicks our tools. fine. but he doesnt seem to feel the neeed to bring it back. that results in loss of nearly all tools.
it was a bloody pain to find the right spanner, than you couldnt get to the bolt, when you finally reached the one bolt...there was no way in hell you could get it out.
i even get my 'heavy duty' belt around the spanner trying to move it...now i broke the ****in thing (a nice leather armani belt lol). bloody annoying.
i then had to try and do it differently, my foot doesnt fit between the plastics (which i couldnt take of due to loss of nearly all spanners:ghey: ). so i got all my weight on and pullled...
well it work finally in the end.
when i was finally nearing completion getting the engine out, me and my mate had to stop because one of the babies couldnt sleep because of us.
i only have to undo one bolt for the exhaust now, so i can lift the exhaust up and the engine should slide out...sort of:).
we had great fun doing it though, but im DEFFINATELY buying my own tools! and my brother isnt allowed 10 foot near it:wack:
i only had to get the engine out because my gearbox is fooked...not the clutch of what first was said. i dont have drive in any gear, which happend after a mate of mine drove it. it was fine before that though. he denies that he somehow broken it (driving like a retard and not pulling the clutch:doh:)...so i cant be fcuked with him now atm.
getting the gearbox for a mere 220 quid though. new:)
