Pro's of the diaghpragm type are that its cheaper than the piston type.

Cons are it wont work on summink with an Air Flow Meter.

So yer need a piston one. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

Love the mongoose (sound, looks etc.), the only slight problem is that you may need to open up the cut out in the rear bumper as it seems to hang to one side slightly (10mm).
Made a big difference to the car it pulls better from low down and doesn't run out of puff at higher revs.Comes with a cat replacement pipe so you can swap it back in come MOT time (dead easy).

Anyone know what the S13 version is like? Unfortunatly my system is rusting away http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif so may have to invest that and a K&N filter

s13 mongoose looks neat, im mid-way to be buying one. Got the K&N, actuator and chip already fitted. K&N makes lovely whizzy noises and wastegate chatter. Yummy. The standard exhaust is really restrictive, im hoping/ expecting a noticable difference when the mong is fitted.

The Mongoose is wicked!!!

I have the pleasure of driving through one of the Mersey tunnels every day, and its always a case of window down, leave a gap, slot second and hit the LOUD pedal. The noise in the tunnels is awsome, really loud, but it give such a buzz, Im sure Ill get pulled one of these days cos Im sure it must be heard at either end when Im in the middle http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

On the S13 its just a steady throb that sends passengers to sleep, but push the throttle and the volume increases dramatically. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif
