You could download a trial version such as WinDVD or PowerDVD and then *cough*, crack the bugger ;)

I've got PowerDVD. i could try and fabricate it onto a blank disc, if you catch my drift. ;)

Cheers guys, donloading power DVD 4 Deluxe from FTP now, hopefully that'll do the trick then :)

Another quick question.

I have a DV camcorder, and I take all the video accross to the PC using Pinnacle Studio 7. Has anyone had any experience in coverting to DivX. I can only do a small file, but once the PC has to chomp through a mega big file, it freezez on rendering. DivX seems to be the only way I can crush large files down enough to get em on a CDR

There's so much to go into I would advise a trip to www.doom9.org and look at the guides.

I used to do a bit of DivX and found the Gordian Knot method the best (although not the easiest ;)). Then I got a DVD writer and never looked back.

What camcorder have you got btw? I've been meaning to get one for a while but couldn't find any widescreen ones.
