I have had my car in a couple of different Garages recently (Alan jeffery, hyeline)
for numerous different jobs, and have asked everytime if they could change the rear subframe bushes for me. But every time, they let me know how un- keen they are to do it. Of course I realise its a big job and they are busy workshops, but does anyone know anyone else in the plymouth area who would be willing to do this and at a reasonable rate???:D

nismo bushes. The subframe still on my car. obviously why no-one wants 2 do it:( would give it a crack myself, just finding the time between college and driving to and from wales all the time. Are they easy to change with the subframe off, or do you need a press or summing?

collars would have been better thinking about it, but already got these bushes now cost £150. wouldnt have thought anyone would want them off me either for that money when they could just buy collars.

Subframe needs to be off... the old bushes need to be blow torched out :wack: then the metal sleaves need to be either pressed out... or channie factory'd!!!! then new bushes should go straight in then bolt back up... do you have any photos of the nismo ones???? Got a feelin they are different from the DW ones i used...
