WTF.... Is the voiceover done live, as in, right now? This american dude says "err" every three words, stops sentances in the middle and doesn't complete them and also, doesn't seem to realise what car he's talking about at times. I mean, he thought that the SVA Imports Z33 was a Skyline GTR... Oh dear.
Plus it being on Motors TV renders the video worse than Youtube.
Still nice to see the cars and drivers doing what they do best, though. :)
Shame, it could have been so much more if only more TV execs had faith in the sport. :(
I thought that. Nice to see the local boys, crap commentary though.

I noticed this, I didn't realise that Motors TV compressed the signal but they weren't using top dollar broadcast cameras either, just 'pro-am' cameras - Sony XLR if I recall correctly. I'm no expert though so correct me if I'm wrong there. :)
But, that said, it's a massive step in the right direction and hopefully these little points can be sorted for the next 'episode' . :) The commentary is the main thing which should be easily sorted, they should use Maz!

I can't really comment on the camera's used as I know little of that stuff, but I agree, it didn't look as though they used the most proffesional stuff. The problem with Motors TV is that it's stuck in the middle of a fully packed bouquet (the carrier frequency of the channel, which, being digital means they can have up to 10 or something different channels all down the same frequency) and what is something like a 10meg stream (for a single channel per carrier freqency), we get bummed down to a 1meg stream.... :(
I saw about 2 runs then my mom switched off to put bloody corrers back on....
Not impressed.

i thought the whole thing was utter **** sh1te, very poor editing. half an hour is not enough time for an episode, it seemed cramped and rushed and the commentary was ridiculous, he sounded like he knew nothing:ghey:
very good driving by the competitors but they were let down imho.

Its as I type on Motors TV (Europe) I guess the next program on MotorsTV UK, which the planner says is EDC will actually be TimeAttack. My parents are watching it in Cyprus, just spoke ;)

Nice to see Norris car doesnt look the handful it looked at Knockhill last year, now its very easy to drive :wack:

Says round 2 at 11:30 today .. but last night @ 19:30 they showed Rd1 again.
does anyone know when this will be on motors tv?
like an actual listings???
The listing on the website is wrong, I'm guessing first showing of round 2 will be 19:30 next Friday.

Never spotted you although was distracted a few times by the kids.
It was ok, mainly the pro class although there was 1 or 2 interviews with club class drivers. A lot of the in car filming was shit because of the sun dazzling through the windscreens.
Seen it now, better program for sure.

YAY! Watched it last night. Thought it was faaaaar better than the drifty program - got a real feeling of speed and stuff :)
Shame they didnt show any of the S-chassis, maybe next time :)

Yeah, that circuit is used, IIRC the Protimes (road tyres) were similar to some race cars (with slicks) :thumbs:
