Is it me or is this thing REALLY ugly.

It's a bit like the emporers new clothes I reckon. Everyone seems to think this new MG thing is great, but I believe it's quite possibly the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

The only thing going for it as far as I'm concerned is that legendary MG Rover build quality

lol, yeah, the force is strong in this one - 400bhp as standard. I agree, in that piccie, there is something of a Z3 about it, but it looked excellent on Top Gear, and sounded beautiful.

the front is a bit... let's say exceptional. But far more strange is the reflection - look at the rear wheel, spoiler or winker:confused:

Looks like something that wasn't quite good enough to get into the Judge Dredd film........which was pants IMHO:)

The whole thing looks like they're trying to hard. There must have been a point when they stood back and said, right, enough gills and fins and Max Power add ons, it's done.........oh, go on then. Just another six more!

Gah. TVR for me any day. And as for 900 BHP, I'll believe it when I see it. They can't even make regular cars that don't fall to bits!

Its a winner in my books, a step in the right direction. Radical styling unlike many sports cars who are starting to make bland and smooth looking cars (not enzo). I bet its RWD as well, even lambo are starting to go all 4WD on us. 900bhp and RWD :D :D , how can anyone slag that?

Any one got a pic of the new Buagati (sp?) 1000bhp beasty? Think its 4WD as well though :(

Ever MG and Rover I've driven I personally wouldn't recommend for the money - I really didn't like the build quality...

Apparently, the Designers put some more slats in the front and read windscreens, but had a problem with holding the air in the cabin:D
The whole car screams OTT, and who cares if its got 900BHP - thats just a bunch of figures to boast about - you'll never get a chance to use it.

my initial thoughts when i first saw it was that its ugly as hell. like the designer's been overdosing on max power. altho i think something's missing...... how about a biplane alu spoiler on the roof and bonnet too? :D

but if i was a millionaire i might buy one and enter it in the british GT championship :) (as someone said, you'd look pretty stupid driving along the high street... at a race event or cruise it would be fine)

still, dont knock rover... they could have launched yet another 1.1 litre breeder mobile. or is that what you guys who are complaining really want? ;)
