i've looked, its hard to find one that blends in properly into the A pillar without fibreglassing your own :(

apex do some, but they look like the ones where you can see the screws holding it on, and they look HUGE! i'd go with a max of 2 gauges in the pillar really..

I blended a universal pillar mount into my sidepod...though it took AGES, so don't recommend. also, it's a little distracting at night with the lights on like blackpool :D

any pics :)

a bit of fibreglass+resin, some filler and some vinyl = job done

i was going to go down this route, but would like to buy a spare A pillar first so add on a pod holder and it'd cost way more than just buying a DIN plate.. which i did instead :D

hmm, interesting, maybe i should just go with the 2 on the pillar for now then. Where does the best 2 gauge pillar pod then? Most OEM look im after!!!

Actually, I didn't do it with fibreglass, I cut the pods to shape on a grinder, made some little brackets up for the inside, cut three holes in the pillar for the wires, and attached the brackets from the inside with a few pot rivets... only finished it at 12 last night haha....and as said, the lights are a 'bit' in your face...I've also mounted a water temp gauge on the steering.

Pics next week

if you want 2 in the pillar I think Apex do a double A-pillar pod :)
