Blackpool Cruise

Big hello to everyone on the board, i recently acquired a 1990 200sx and love it so much, a hiper muffler, T28 hybrid and ND boost upgrade have graced the car already. my mate andyf introduced me to here and it is sincerely great, love the chat, but i met stuy mac 2nite at the blackpool cruise, we were the only 200's there and may i say what a fantastic car he has got, very impressive. I will be checking in loads 2 see what everyone will be up to over the summer, catch u guys soon!!

This was a rather excellent night. Hundreds of cars, everyone behaving decently.. a couple burn-outs and some dodgy old fiesta doing .. something ..
Hi to StuyMac - nice car! The supra spoilers do look rather good in the flesh. Couldn't take my own car down as it's suffering badly at the moment - was ejecting blue smoke horrendously the other day when I was idling it down. Oh dear.

wots the crack with the blackpool thing? It aint *too* much of a run out for me, and I might give it a whirl, a few mates go up there but I have only been once, and to be honest I parked up and went in the arcades instead of schmoozin. Does it get busy?

Oh yeah, it got massively busy last night. Loads of cars, even more people. Great atmosphere. Was busy for 2-3 hours before people started (slowly) to move out. One thing to watch out for is that the Police were only allowing people into the main car park by one entrance so they could do stop checks - wait in the nearby car park just after the next roundabout until someone opens the second gate and people start sneaking in that way ... Cops didn't notice for ages.

What a surprise it was to meet 2 200 owners who use the site. There was me, parked in traffic waiting to get in, when the deep burble of a huge blitz / hks can woke me!!

Eventually got in the car park (Feds where giving everyone 7 day tickets - I managed to get away with it though http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif ) and as I opened the door I was alomost pounced on by other 200 lovers who had seen the car and recognised the web stickers.

Had a good look at the cars, and it was quite a good night - loadsa lovely motors.
