Group Meet & Santa Pod - 17th June

Well, after lasts weekends gaunt down a straight I wanna go again! Judging by a few of the posts, it seems quite a few of you do too!
Had a chat on the fone with StuyMac earlier. He told me about the "Halfway meet" at Donny.
Well, during our chat, I had an idea - now sounding it out for votes.
How about we all trek down to Billing Audrome - off Jct 15 of M1 (I know it's not quite halfway, but don't forget Dave the B from deepest Dorset!).
If we all arrive on Saturday afternoon and pitch a tent, we can drink until we're all falling over with no motoring worries!
Then, on the Sunday, we all get up bright and early and head 10 miles (if that) down the road to Pod!
Like I said, just sounding it out and see who's up for it.
It could be the 200sx warm up for the Jap Auto Extraveganza, held at Billing over the last weekend in July.
Stuy's up for it - anyone else???

I'd love to come and blast up santa pod but unfortunately 17 June is the Overseas Speedway Final in Poole.

So 'fraid I'll be watching motorbikes go round in a circle all afternoon!

Right - had a chat with Steve(Carter100) earlier.
He's suggested we scrap the Billing/S'Pod idea and all try and meet up the following Friday for beers and then trak down to Stamford Hall, near Loughborough so I'm told, for the JAP's show.
Admittedly - we're saying Friday nite cos' its Steves birthday (you old git - he's gonna be 30!) that weekend so we can't stay Sat. nite.

Any other ideas?
Would like to meet as many people as possible, but that obviously means a trying to get a weekend where everyone is free (DOH!!!)

Stamford Hall is in Lutterworth, the show is the 23/24 June.

I went to uni in Loughboghorror and its not too far from there, I'd be up for going to this one (my folks live in Leicester, so if anyone wants to meet up beforehand let me know).

Ok peeps, keep 'em coming!

I'll be going to the Pod on the 17th June, along with Taff and Steve (hopefully all running too!). Hopefully Paul and Nat you won't need persuading so much to run this time (couldn't believe it - turned up a bit late expecting them to have had a couple of goes - they were umming and arring about running at all!)
We'll also be going to Japs, but have to shift homewards by at the latest 4pm due to a 30th/zimmer frame party!

If any northern folks are free this weekend June 2nd/3rd we can pick a middling place. It's just after pay day and I'll likely be skint any later.

Otherwise, I'm away 10th, 17th is Le Mans (for lots of us), Beamish (who started the meet up thread) is away 24th.
July 1st is pay day again. That's got to be a good bet.

Now that we've been cast off into a separate world, it's important that S14s outnumber the S13s at every meet.

I don't know if the 'poll' thingy works on the new board but it is worth a try for preferred dates.

Hmmm we got there and there were very big things going very very fast, super chargers nitros v12's paul and I looked at each other and went gulp. this time however with a bit more confidence we should start earlier and get a few more runs in.
