I'm after some advice please :)
never done any paintowrk in my life, except a bit of plasticote rattle can stuff :wack:

I've got 2 Split rim centres I was going to try my hand with - I've stripped them with Nitro-Mors, and sanded thwm back so they are nice and clean - what the feck do i do now?! :wack: I want to do them reasonably cheaply as they are track wheels, so i was thinking it was basically:
Primer
Paint
Lacquer.
Is that right? Anything i need to do in between? and I'm guessing lots of thin coats is best?
Best source - Halfords?!

Also, i was quite liking the idea of doing them pearl white - is that kind of impossible with Halfords rattle cans?! :wack:

cheers all :)

nah its best to powder coat wheels but if they're just track i cant see why not, they dont flex (much) so get a good primer though. iirc the paint should be applied to give a shiney even surface but not too much though or it could run

I think you need an acid based/etching primer. Then noirmal car paint and laquer.

Ask Nismo Steve, he's done it :
