Turbo Upgrade

After getting my S13 off a rolling road I was told that the turbo isn't in the best condition. What would you guys recommend. Get turbo technics to recondition it or go for a T25 hybrid. What benefit would I get from a hybrid as the mods I have consist of a ND stage 1 chip and a K & N air filter. I plan to get a mongoose exhaust next. Can anyone recommend an intercooler for someone on a tighter budget.

Get the T25 hybrid if your not considering any other options, paul_s13 has one of these babies and it is very impressive miles better than the standard unit, also he made up his own intercooler from a saab unit. It's about time you wrote how to do this paul for dave to stick it up on his site. added with the mongoose and an uprated actuator you should push quite a bit over 200 bhp, Nice http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

I know Jez has a Saab intercooler. Do you know how much one of these babies would cost? Also if anyone knows how to fit one, any advise would be recommended.

I would reccomend a T3 It works out more expensive for the convertion but if you had to change the turbo a T3 cost a hell of alot less that a hybrid T25(I want more power!), and the Saab intercooler cost £47 second hand and the Samco hoses cost £70.

I've had 230bhp @ 5666rpm on the last RR seesion, but I want more!
