Chips and gravy, eughh. You wouldnt be from 'the north' would you?
Sausage'n chips and some curry for me. E-mail them to me when you get back :D
A nice big burger with as much soft, not thoroughly cooked batter on it as possible would be nice.
If you don't mind :p

Erm, Stoke is midlands-come-north-ish! :D
JB - My local chippy does Mars bars in batter, creme eggs in batter - infact, you just have to ask and he'll put anything in batter!

Yes u most certainly can, infact i had a Pizza supper tonight, was lovely.
Thing u have to remember is to salt the Pizza, but not vinegar it, and then make sure they fold it in half or u loose all the cheese on the grease proof paper.
U can also get a Pizza covered in batter, called a Pizza Crunch, apparently its pretty nice also.
U English dunno wat ur missing:p :p :D :D

They deep fry anything up there, I once asked for pie and chips and he took the pie out of the glass bit and flung it into the deep fat fryer. To be fair it was the best pie I have ever had:)

LOL, yeah I have lived in a few places that just don't have compatible names for a bread roll. People just look at you like you are some freak when asking for a chip cob.
you can ask for or buy anything but not a roll.
Maybe it's cos I look like a freak, nah don't think so.

Sounds lovely
Last time I went to Scotland to work, was in East Kilbride. There was this takeaway called "Po on" lol, and the chicken curry taste like sh!te. I probably would have prefered deep fried pizza :)
Anyway, I got Jacket potatoes tonight, yippee

I wouldn't touch anything in the "Po on"
Should have realised that by the name

The Poon?
Its not that far from wher Kev lives, he may know the place, its in the village :)
The curry consisted of chicken, vegetables, sauce, with a 1 inch layer of fat over the top, which in turn globulated the sauce. It looked terrible. The rice wasn't bad though, but it werent good either
Vince u need to try the Pizza nexyt time ur up mate, its lovely.
Ur better actually speaking to Gee bout EK, cos he actually stays there.
But id be suspect of the Po on!
Theres another beside me called the Shat inn (seriously!!)
But i would have advised the Lucky View in Viewpark (2 mins from Bothwell) and i may just be biased cos i deliver for them............... and i only finished 1/2 hour ago.
Ah well start in the club in just over an hour, hungry too, might get myself a roll'n'chips en route..........
I had a Balti, and it was fab. Good work

that just makes it worse, jezzy boy ;) ;) ;)
I made deep fried ice cream a few times - now that is worth trying. One of the nicest contrasts of flavour, temperature and texture you can get. You have to eat it pretty quick though, and remember kids - ice cream in the freezer, hot fat in the fryer :)
