thought id say hi as ive just moved to portsmouth with my s13...
....whilst im here, anyone know a decent 'cheapish' mechanic that can repair my bottom end for me?
PTS,,best and most SX experienced in the area,, still a 25 mile drive,,but worth it.
one of the probs goin to a decent garage is that they'll suggest that its best to remove the engine...i havent got the cash at the mo, ill give them a bell though....
good with sx's u say?
Heh,,to say the least,, its all Chris seems to work on these days.I trust him to work on my car,, and thats saying something.As long as your crank isnt fubard he can do it engine in situ.

well its not to much of a prob, u know these s13 and their weak bottom ends...
I phoned chris, what a nice and helpful bloke....cost me around 500 quid for big ends and main, and a weeks notice to have it in, time to save the dosh and then ill be up for some meets, bring it on!, lol

Chris is great with the cars m8 no problems there. mine went in for the same as yours but left after i spent another 10k on it. Nothing to do with Chris just the good feed back from other members and chris telling me what the car would be able to do if i fitted this or that. If you talk to Chris he will tell you what the 200 is capable of and how much it is likley to cost you. That is the only place now i will let look at my 200.
lol, he already has me considering a fast road engine for 2500...

Bloody hell thats even quick for him. if you can afford it m8 go for it, if you want to feel what the diff is just drop me a mail and i will take you out for a spin.

Whats happening for goodwood festival of speed? ne one going up? might be a chance for a cruise and a good day out......:thumbs:
