I had to drive to Newbury in a Vauxhall Corsa. it was so unhappy in the wet all I could do was potter along at 70 and hope it didn't leave the road when it felt like it :(

definatley not :D
thats the point of them - to see how quickly the people using them can destroy them :)
I once got landed with a Fiesta diesel while my car was in a garage over night. I drove it from Worcester to Telford without taking my right foot off the floor once, amazing how easy full throttle gear changes are in a diesel! It didn't seem very economical though, perhaps it's just hype about diesels? :D

I once drove a Hire fiesta with about 100 miles on the clock for 300 miles. Engine was rattly as a 100,000 miler CVH as I handbraked it into the depot, perked it up and handed the keys in. I only took my foot off the floor if I was braking, and fuel wasn't a problem as the MOD has their own petrol stations.
Deffo not!!
Which is why you never buy a car that has a dealership logged as an owner. Normally means its been cained within an inch of its life from new and never serviced properly

Why even ask such a question
Glad to hear these vehicles have been put to good use!
Remeber going back to a dealer 2 mins after picking up a loan car (they gave me absolutely no petrol at all) and commenting how this Lexus LS400 did not seem to have traction control!
Anyone tried a Seicento Sporting in the wet?
I was going to turn right at the roundabout but somehow I went straight on.
