at a cost of £30-£35 per car depending on attendance ( a subsidy of £6 per car for sxoc members has been kindly agreed by Jeff & Pete bringing the cost for members as low as £24.00)

A £10 deposit is required by all to confirm your place, please use the club Paypal events@sxoc.com , you need to put "West Country RR day" in there somewhere, plus your board name and your real name: If you really really have to pay by cheque please PM me for details. Can we have all deposits by 15th April so we can remove people from the list and maybe offer places to others if needed

I really want to make this, but i'm not sure if i'll have the S13 back on the road by then, i've got to weld a shite load if chassis to get it through the MOT and then rebuild the engine to sort out some bolloxed exhaust valves.

As for other clubs to make up numbers, the Renault sports club are trying to arrange a RR day at interpro as well, could pop over and suggest they tag along with us to make the numbers up for both sides??

As far as I understand it (i.e. not so well :wack: ) you need a consult doo-dah to ensure the ECU has set the timing where it thinks is correct and you then check it against that starting point. Without doing that first you could be starting in the wrong place before making any changes :(

Tragedy has struck!! :cry:

My cars started smoking like crazy on idle and heavy boost. Done a compression test and that came back fine so guessing my turbo's up the swanny!

Not sure I'm gunna be able to get it swapped before the RR. I'm too scared to do it myself :ghey: and too broke to take it to a garage :o

not good on the first run set at standard boost, was stock power even with his twin apexi intake and trust intercoolers, even worse with a chipped ecu fitted it had the biggest flat spot that almost looked like the car had gone in reverse lol! eventually I got him to take me out on the road with the chipped ecu removed and set up his Bltz i colour to run at a 1 bar constantly with a quick spool up and he got 372bhp and 322lbs torque 311 bhp at the wheels which made him happy!!!!!

to be honest the supra club were there and they are complaining about low readings and the rolling road, also they had anchor all the zeds to another zed outside and sit people in the boot not very proffessional imo

Whatever is the case the engine is still moving around a little more than it used too at idle even with the new plugs, ive been told valve damage is a possibility:annoyed: ohwell.. see what the compression test gives i spose :rolleyes:

Right, I've had a chat to Interpro and paid the £239 calculated above :thumbs:

As long as the 17 of you that have said you're going turn up they're going to do it for £30 per car. Remember to knock your deposit amount of that (£10 for most of you) and then if you're a member knock off another £6 for the sxoc subsidy ;)

If any more than 17 turn up great, if any of you can't make it then please let myself or Shortcut know asap, as this may well impact on the price everyone else will be paying! :( You can call me and let me know on 07971 405056 and I'll pass the message on :)

try sticking your hand over the end of the exhaust and see if the blowing
gets louder, if not its prob just induction noise:thumbs:

The day for me was short as I had to get my friend back to his kids early on. I had a good one though and made 361bhp. The guy at Interpro said he was particularly impressed with not just the power but the great response thru the rev range. Naturally I'm very pleased with that:nod: All credit to APT for the set-up & tuning on my recent(ish) upgrade. Graph will follow later after I've watched the grand prix:D

Right, so I've not long got back and sat here filling out a spreadhseet with all the results. Hopefully, I got them all correct.. Please shout if it's wrong. I've attatched it at the bottom.

I'll mention now that I seem to have £33 left over somehow.. :confused: I've detailed the moneys taken and what folks told me that they had paid regarding deposites and stuff. thought it was a good turnout just a shame about the weather really. I was really impressed with some of the cars there, some good powered cars there. I'm really happy with mine as i was a little concerned about it feeling slower.

I got 284.5 @ fly with STD fuelling which was spot on apparently.
