Anyone ever tried/owned a Toyota Camry V6?
Am getting a little bored with me other car, and am looking for another one. Prefer a big, and most of all a QUIET car.
NO van, mpv or stationwagon....

Thanks!

As a drivers car they're dull as ditch water.

As a second car to pootle around in it would be great apart from the fuel consumption. Had one on loan for a month when the Safrane was in the bodyshop a few years ago and it was smooth, quiet, fairly powerful for a 4 door saloon, extremely well equipped and had such a lack of image that you attracted no attention from other road users whatsoever. Being a Toyota it'll be reliable until the turn of the next millenium I expect and it's first owner will no doubt be some old duffer who only did 1500 miles a year.

Check the parcel shelf hasn't worn out through the wear caused by keeping a Trilby on it though ;)

Used to have a 3L one, if that's the same as the UK ones. Not a bad car, but not sporty enough for real fun.

The old man has a V6 out in the states

they are a typical americans car.. cruise control, PAS so good it takes like a finger to go full lock > full lock.. etc etc

and above all, very very quiet

nice car to travel long distance, but performance... well you can imagine
