Cheers

i wouldnt say that this is advice but more of a fact my mate has one J reg import TT silver very nice (also has a GTI MR2, Lexus IS200, GS300, Golf 1.4, he has a big indian family, who buy + Trade cars, he swopped the 300 for a SHOGUN (1990 i think) and £400.) He recons it drinks the petrol and does around 14 to the gallon.

Don't buy a cheap one (dog). This might seem obvious, but its odd how many people do just this. Zs when not looked after bite your wallet very, very hard.

It's not so much advice, more of an opinion :), but I would not buy 1, going off what I've heard about when things go wrong with them, but also the fact that they are all really old now, I don't mean looks (as I like the look of them) but the only car of that age I would really consider buying is an R32GTR, and even then it would have to be A1+++ condition :)

Personally i agree with phatty ( love what youve done to your bonnet mate, when did u get that done? what is it a carbon fibre jobbie or something????) the look great, but if you get yourself a old copy of the TOPGEAR mag (3-6 months ago) they did a artical on one for the 70k service that cost 2K!!!!!!!!
