Who is planning to go to the SE open day on 28th ?

a lot of us 300's are gonna be there (i thought it was a 300 open day) so if any of you guys wannna meet, its as good a place as any....

Can anyone come along?
I had a nose round SE earlier this year when I was looking for info on S14s but they were really busy so an open day might a more productive way of having a nose around a few cars.

I don't know if I want to use SE, I phoned them yesterday with an enquiry, the bloke said he would phone me back in 15 mins, he never did. This only adds to the list of negative things that I have heard about SE.

Similar experiance on the same day, call went as follows, me: hi, could you give me a quote and availabilty of your se stage2 chip se: ere sorry I dont know I will ask pete and then call you back. me: ok then se: what was your name? me: told them my name se: ok I'll call you back later then me: dont you need my phone number? it's ********** se: ok then thanks I'll call you later when I've spoken to pete.
Hmmmm 24 hours later still nothing, I will keep trying though as I realy want there stage 2 chip, the last time I used them to get my spoiler they were fine, they called me back about things and it even turned up 3 days early. maybee there just busy. I'll wait and see.
i think the problem at the moment is that pete has not been well, and nothing much gets priced or given lead times without his input...
we have had lots of +ve and -ve feedback on our forum, so it's real 50/50 stuff, but any excuse to go and see some more cars and like minded owners is a good idea, whether you want to use SE or not.. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif

Paul is right , thats poor customer service, even a phone call to say 'it may take a while to get the info but I will call you as soon as etc' would help. Its the fact that they dont call back when they give u the impression that it will be 15-20 mins, then dont , so you waste all that time expecting a call. Perhaps they need training in telephone technique and customer retention. not achieving 'Kandoh' as they say at NMGB, a level of service that brings a blessing to the heart. But seriously if they want your business they better shape up. Take it from one with over 20 years in customer facing. I think I would be hung if I told my customers a yarn, and perhaps if all the pricing and lead times hinge on one bloke, perhaps it shouldn't. As the poor feedback illustrates.

I have in the past used Norris Designs and I find there customer service great, I had a invoice error so I emailed them on a bank holiday friday, and on sunday morning Simon Norris phoned me up! I wasn't expecting a call till the following tuesday. All it takes is a phonecall to reasure you you haven't been forgotten.

Had the same problem with SE yesterday regarding the SE Phase 2 Chip.
Still no answer from them yet, even though I was told I was gonna be called back.
I never used to consider Norris but now I am.
I recently ordered my pump from SE- PArts (not SE-Nissan) and they provide great service.

SE want to be thankful they don't have to put up with the antics of franchised garages and NMGB when it comes to having customer service tested- recorded phonecalls by bogus customers that are supposed to be training orientated , but are used by management to beat you up with, and customers that turn up and film you whilst they book in, then send the video to your directors , who in turn beat you up over it. this regular occurence once a month. On yer toes, better be . pressure - you don't want to know ( big brother is watching) Oh and Paul, the service you get from SE should be good all the time not just once or twice .

I emailed Norris yesterday and enquired if they would sell a T3 fitting kit without the manifiold, they said no rather than not contact me at all.
DID THEY SHOW YOU WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A CUSTOMER RINGS I.E. RUN AWAY FROM THE PHONE SCREAMING LOUDLY
Every time, that I or my mate has phoned SE in connection with buying something from them, they never ever have called back, and yes every time they said that they would! They fitted my mate;s S13 with wilwood front calipers and new grooved discs and when my mate washed the car the black paint on the calipers came off! they said they would replace the calipers but they never even ordered them! and they had no intention to! this is one of the best ways they they have done bussiness with either of us, the worst ways would take a lot more time to write!

When i first got my 200 i phoned SE three times with enquires and requested a catalogue, left address and number and heard fcuk all! wont bother again!
been in business myself, and that is no way to do it!!

Phoned to BUY a chip.. not enquiring.. had card in hand and all.. Receptionist could not give me a price as the phase 2 chip was not written in her price book. SHOCKING! Still waiting for the call back 7 months later!
I'm a ND man through and through now. NEVER been lied to or ignored, hence they get my money.

I'm still waiting for a call from them....from about 6 weeks ago. I only wanted them to send me a fax quote for the GTR front splitter, so I could pass it on to the RAC and get them to buy me a new one.
Can't be arsed with them anymore!
