Evenin guys, just wondering why we cant delete posts that we start???

Is this an option you can turn on for us??

I'm sorry, steve, I'm not authorised to provide that information :p

It was possible in the past, I suspect it's a user-setting. PM Keith, he gets lonely :D

UNLESS, it was that you COULD delete a thread you start if no-one else has posted after you. perhaps. as you would in a way be trying to delete someone else's post

Well, I figured that while someone might have reason for delete a post they make (something only paid members can do anyway), why would someone want to delete a whole thread?

If someone can give me a vaild reason for enabling that, I will.

I accidently pressed the wrong button, and instead of sending a reply to a PM from TAC, I posted in the general section:rolleyes: :D obviously there was a cetain amount of divvyness involved :D

That doesn't require deleting a thread, just individual posts.

Surely if you start a thread and you want to delete it your not asking too much right as you were the topic starter??

On The RSBB I was just use to it like that, so when I tried to delete a post of my own and I couldn't it freaked me out.

Well, like I say, paid members can already delete their own posts, but if it's what people want, I'll let them delete threads they start too.

I must make it clear that I will only enable these rights for paid members though.

Keith for example, im selling some side skirts. If I decided i wasnt going to sell the the easiest thing would be to delete the post entirely.

I am a piad member anyway so thats cool. And if your not a pis member yet its only fifteen quid so stop being tight!!!!!!!!:D
