how quickly that people forget that myself and james spend half our time running round sorting out drift days and making videos informing people of how good the sxoc is! and still is. This as far as i can make out has stemmed froma lot of nothing.
The posts on the Team Night-Spirit BBS are private and there is no need whatsoever for them to be posted on this forum in such a childish way. anyone that knows driftaholic, knows his mannerisms and should be aware that he is by no means a fight merchant, but if you want to get into that i doubt that james or myself will be afraid of a kicking or dealing out a few left hooks of our own :D The money owed to steve carter (whom i concider a sound bloke) has been sorted and that is that.
right then, i agree this has all gone far enough. Anyone that feels they need to make comments please email them to me mat@dori-car.com and i will sort something out for you. If you organized parts without reciving money - more the fool you for doing so.
i hope this will be the end of any public slander or bullshyit, it is un-called for.

Does it work in reverse? I.e. anyone who send you money for a video is a fool, and deserves to be ripped off and never receive their tape?

i was actualy going to highlight that line as well:mad: dont put everyone else in to that catagory, if people on here are going to buy stuff and sell stuff and peeps agree to it there should be no reason for delay of sending goods or cash, if you cant afford it wait till you can, or at least let whom ever you are buying gear from that is the case then i dont think we would get in to all this in the 1st place.:(
Yeah, all i was getting at, is that there HAS to be a certain element of trust in any transaction of this nature.. i.e. were you can't physically meet and exchange goods/money.
I've been ripped off plenty due to being too trusting, but the day i stop having a little faith in people who i consider friends, is the day i shoot meself in the head.

Just FYI it is not. It would be private if you required a login and password to view it. As it is it can be accessed and viewed by anyone by searching on Google. So I'm not sure why you should be surprised that derogatory comments or threats made there may come back and bite you on the ass!

what i mean is that you should get money up front from people you have never dealt with. Obviously i cannot send videos out under the promise of "i'll send you the money later" it doesn't work like that. After a period of time people will trust you and therefore do more for you.
Also in that respect i find this to be one of the BEST forums on the net and i like all you guys, i have spent many an hour on here crying with laughter and picking up tech info. I like to think i give my bit back too? But when it comes down to cash it buggers things up - always does. I always try to go out of my way to help people and get what they want.
But if you are going to start a public bashing of someone cus they let you down then thats a different thing. I'm not trying to antagonise anyone here and you should all know better than that of me!
The TNS forum has always been open for anyone to look at, but only by having the correct link as far as i am aware? Now the forum has been made totally private - which is a direct result of this. I know the owner of that forum VERY well and this sort of thing does not appear on the bbs, there has only been this incident.
Anyway, what i mean to get across without pissing anyone off is that, i like the forum, i like the people and it's it bit of a sad state of affairs when it gets like this. like i said - if there are problems with me or James then please do mail us. but public slanging is just not good for morale! lol :D
hope that explains a little at least?

ps. i made no comments on the TNS bbs and do not intend to either! it is anoying however that people come on, check out what your reading a neglect to make any imput. Pappa, i have not yet seen you at a drift day or making contributions to TNS!? :mad: :eek: :p :D that was all lighthearted btw ;) :D

Only knew of the existence of that forum once all this blew up! Like to have a go at drifting but at the same time like my car the shape it is LOL :D

How does it work if no-one sends first?????
The point here is that a person was given parts (as i understand it, feel free to correct me if im wrong) under the understanding that that person would pay money for those parts.

(This is what i did yesterday, and have done b4, and had others doing it with me also.)
The person recieved the parts by goodwill, then decided he would not supply the money, and u say that the person who supplied the parts was a fool because he trusted someone else with their word.
Very few people on here live in the same area, and few people have met others from this bb.
What i can see of this situation is that ur friend recieved parts that he put his word down for, then decided he would not pay for them, then takes ur attitude of

proving his word is worth nothing, and moreover he should not have been trusted in the first place.
I still say there is a major problem with ur (and his) attitude over this situation, cos its attitudes like that, that destroy the inherant trust in this bb.
I understand the situation has been sorted by u Msilvia, so i have to say (reading between the lines) that u do not agree with what ur typing, but feel the need to back up ur friend, even though u know he is totally in the wrong.
