im thinking of buying a white dial kit for my 14a, what do people think of them ??? the interior does seem a little bland sometimes and i think it will lift the inside...... hopfully.
has any1 fitted any (got any pics) and how easy is it to fit and remove the needles..... any help or input will be good:thumbs:
I've got a lockwood one, it's really nice  I'll try to take photos in a bit. bit of a fiddle to fit, but just logical really, take your time and all's good :)

hth :)
Si
I bought a set of "plasma" ones from ebay ages ago, cos the standard dash looks a little dull, and theyre lovely..the only downside it the feint whine from the control unit...I'll try and get a photo at some point...
The issue i had was getting them ove rthe speedo needle and the odometer reset at the same time...bit fiddly but persevere and dont lose your rag with them!! :wack:
keeping them grease free was the mare for me. And having to find some bulbs that will match the illumination of my HU and dials (another thing for the to do list) - the best colour would be white, but that won't exactly show up against white dials :D
I thought the increments showed up red, through the dials?
im thinking either the plasma style or white faces with blue L E D's:thumbs:
The plasma ones i bought are red and blue illumination with a silver face though (with a scratch-remember i said about losing your rag with them? :wack:) Managed to get the fuel gauge a bit wonky but they look the part....
With white dials and standard lighting, the figures light up the colour of the standard lighting - makes it a tad tricky in dusky conditions - fine at all other times of the day though!

standard dials used to give me eye strain at night, changing them is definately a good idea
I got a set of Indiglo dials from a GB on here :smitten:

only problem I've had is bulbs :annoyed:
standard were not bright enough so I started using LED's which are  but need replacing every 3-4 months :(
they only cost about £8 for all 3 but it is getting a bit annoying now having to take the dials out to replace them but I could do it blindfolded now in 5 mins :)
Odd,LED's should outlast normal filament lamps by loads...

I think it's the vibration they are subject to that causes problems, isn't it?

don't get me wrong, LED bulbs are far better than standard its just they seem a lot more fragile and need replacing quite often :)
