Don't suppose you could recommend/show me where I can find some free Entity Modelling/Dataflow Diagram software? I've got SELECT SSADM, but it's a right pain in the ar5e.

Hi Ant,

I use either "Popkins" or "Rational Rose" for all my diagrams (not sure this helps as they are comercial apps and I dont think you can get free downloads but you may come up with something if you search on the names)

I used to use SE Select whilst designing databases.

Amazingly, a number of the guys now use Visio, purely because it's cheaper for the licenses. Definitely nowhere near as useful though.

Have you tried the software at www.smartdraw.com

It says free download on the website and is supposed to be similar to Visio.
