Ok, so my front splitter has taken a fair hammering over the years, and has a fair few big scuffs/gouges - how do i remove them?

Spent a while yesterday with some wet+dry, which seemed ok, but clogged up very quickly - the finer grades (1200+) seemed to do nothing?

How do i get the final layers done so it is nice and smooth and black again?
Or do i just sell it on and get an srb one!? :wack:

Try 240 grit then work up the grades to about 500 and finish it with a good back to black. That should look better.

hey si i rubbed my splitter down to get some of the scuffs out, then gave it a very light skim of filler then more rubbing down then primed and body coloured (black)
