Taking the front brakes apart this afternoon to check hub / disk tolerances to try and cure my wheel wobble...

Whilst its all off I will be re-painting the calipers / disk bells but dont want to use Smootherite Gold again as its too yellow imaho... does anyone know where I can get a good quality high temp gold paint for the calipers?

:o Sorry, What i actually meant was 'Why not go with a more subtle and available colour? Black looks really nice when kept clean - nice and discreet and purposeful. Gold can have the tendency to make it look like you are trying to give of the impression you have expensive Brembos. Halfords do some good chgeap cans of hi-temp black, it's only about 4.99 and would go a long way :)'

i just used a two pack, admittedly a rather high grade one from work, but the temp limits should not be to far off automotive stuff

Do you get wheel wobble at a constant speed - like around 60-70?

I had used brake caliper paint from halfords on my past 2 cars - pretty cheap and gives a good finish, once you take your time. They don't have a huge range of colours though. I have used the red and the yellow before.
