hi lookin for whats involved in fitting the bar type hicas cancel .i've a inspection pit and mechanical gump being an engineer but don't wanna attempt it if it's a 5 spanner job !my cars an jdm s14 so it's the electric type an not the hydraulic type which is in my favour for home fittin but what about rear trackin ? will it need checkin? could ya guide me to the light an there'll be a sale at the end!cheers p.s am canceling it out due to aftermarket steering wheel losin hicas sensor.
Hi,
Real real easy, undo the two big tie rod nuts from the hicas rack, undo the 2 securing bolts for the hicas rack and any associated pipework/electrics, then bolt the new hicas bar in place and the tie rods to it, and you're done.
Would be nice to get it aligned but the hicas bar is the same length, so it will be fine.
Only issue is you need an R33/S14 bar, which is out of stock at the moment, we do have more on the way but it could be anything up to a month or two.
