Anyone used them much ?

I am hoping to use my mates card and get them to tow/transport me down to SE tomorrow from Coventry. Anyone used them like this before ? think they will do it ? I am having big end bearings done (only) I hope. I dont want to drive it all the way down there and do more damage to crank.

Don't think it works like that mate.

Way I understand it is you break down and they tow you home or to a garage for fixing.

Not, your car develops a problem and they tow you to a garage from your house.

Also, depending on what cover you've got, you have to be at least a quarter of a mile away from home before they'll come out (OK if you live on a long hill).

Of course I could be totally wrong as I've only ever had the cheapo cover, let us know how you get on.
