Hi

Can any of you guys confirm whether my sig is acceptable on this forum? Will change it if it isn't.

Thanks.

Hi Darren,

I would be very interested in testing my cars power, 1/4 mile times etc in the new year after abbey motorsport have tweaked it on 20th of Jan, can you give me any more details please

Cheers Ken

I bought an AC-22 meter, and have managed to link it up to my laptop to produce rather useful graphs of time vs G-forces and time vs bhp (for bhp need to know mass of car). seems to be pretty accurate, so I thought I'd let other people take advantage of my purchase. even measures to 0.01 of a second, which i think is a bit of overkill. i use the term "real world" cos rolling roads cant simulate wind resistance that builds up as you get faster, or the weight of petrol in the tank, etc etc.

blue, if you want we can do a test before the mods then retest after the mods for another £5. I assume the 1/4 mile run will be on the Mad Mile? ;)

Darren, I'll give you a shout in the new year and we can sort out a day to do the tests, bit tied up till then visiting family, inlaws etc:( , mad mile seems a good bet for the 1/4

Cheers Ken

yep, no probs. tis christmas after all

as for the mad mile, it's your license so i don't mind ;) if you prefer we could do 0-60mph tests and a 20-70mph tests, before and after your visit to Abbey... to give you an indication of how good your mods are.

Dont forget Darren, to advertise on the corsa BB and buy lots of calendars for their 1/4 mile timings, and bump up the price to £50, they'll just have to get their pocket money advanced a few months off of their mums:D
