i was thinking (and no it did not hurt) Dave could you or someone else design a logo that we could have made up on stickers so we can plonk them on are windows? nothing big just somthing unique and cool looking. That way it would be more club like, rather than just a web site, of course we would all have to chip in to pay for it, but i cant cost that much, just an idea.

That is a good idea, could also get a bit more publicity for the site as well. I'll sling in a few bob to help get it started.

Ive seen a few similar things, where you just talking something along the lines of "WWW.Nissan200SX.co.uk" and put them in the rear quarter windows, or something a bit more fancy with a logo???
If people just want what I mentioned above, that can be sorted quite easy. Im also sure you wouldnt be stepping on anyones toes just doing that.
Anything a bit more complicated with a logo could be a bit harder.

Right, just been on the phone to a mate who can make them, and he said that he could do 'em dead cheap. What Ive asked for is "WWW.NISSAN200SX.CO.UK", in white, about 30cm long, and reversed (so it will go on the inside of the window).
Dave, with you approvial (I dont want to step on your toes as it is your site) I will call him back later today to see when he can do them for. Is anyone interested, as I will get him to make 40 or so (20sets - 1 for each rear quarter window), and get them out to people who want them.

Also, if might be a good idea to sort some out that can go across the rear window. The supra club have a similar one and looks great. Prehaps a 60cm one.
I shall have a word this afternoon and let you know how I get on.
So If possible Ill get about 40 made up 30cm long, and 20 60cm if possible, Im sure more can be made if there is a greater demand, but Im sure 20 sets will do for all the current hardcore users of the site ;o)

i dont mind designing one for the site (spent 4 years doing a design degree and teaching design for a year)
So if you want me to try and come up with something stylish for the future maybe then I don't mind putting my skills to use.
Meanwhile I'm happy to receive a web decal with the site address.
Right, My mate is showing me one to look at tonight so I can see what they are looking like, unfortunatly though I think Im only gonna be able to get the smaller ones (about 30cm long in white), as they dont get the bigger strips of film.
Still, Ill see what they look like and he said he could do 30 for me, so, if Like me you want one in each rear quarter, that leaves 14 sets, the current names for them are:

The cost of the smaller ones is very small and not worth bothering about as they are only 50p each (Im sure Id call the favour in sometime http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif )
I Will ask about the bigger ones tonight, and let you know for sure.
Now these smaller ones, would you prefer them reversed on the inside or on the outside. Outside they could get tatty over time if they peel away, but on the inside they appear a bit dull due to the tint in the window, what do you recon http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/confused.gif

Definatly good idea, Ill have one ( as some may know I,m big on stickers.)
Oh yes, the silver NISSAN lettering sticker from the back of a vanette cargo (letters about 3inches high word about 18 inches long) are only about £5 from Nissan. Possibly the cheapest thing they sell!!
I put one on each door to hide some scratches - they look ok. or go the whole hog and get it put on yer number plates.

Hmmmm, couldnt get Papas design. Probably coz of this **** box Bush internet thingy I'm using.
But I'll have a sticker though. Being cheeky, any chance of different colours? Chrome being my choice, its the sort of theme I'm going for with my stickers.:-)

Right, My mate brought a tester round for me to see last night, and they are going to look great!!!
They measure about 380mm long, and the font is about 20mm high. Im having them made up so that they are reversed and will stick on the inside of the windows. Ive also asked him to make some double the size for those people who want bigger ones for rear windows / top of windscreens. Ive asked for 30 smaller ones, and 10 bigger ones. Depending on demand I can get more if they run out, but at the moment it will be first come, first served.
Unfortunatly Steve (Carter - there are that many Steves here http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/rolleyes.gif ) I can only get them in white, but they are going to look like the doggies danglies!!!
The cost is 50p each for the smaller ones, and £1 for the bigger ones. Now sending me cash (couple of coins in an envolope) isnt really going to be worth it, so for the time being dont worry about it, and If I see yer out 'n' about Ill collar you http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif
I think its going to be either tonight / tomorrow before I get them, and due to work over the weekend, I think It may be next week before I get to send them out, so, get your Names, Nicknames and addresses to me Via mail (stuart.mcmaster@marconi.com) and Ill get them out as soon as I can.
