View Full Version : Scraphead challange is on now, 5.15, woohoo!!
One of my favourite progs too :)
Y'know there one where they had to make a vehicle, where they had to lift the vehicle, and rotate it, etc. Relying on directions/notes, etc. rather than being able to see?
The losing team, well, the "expert" they gave the teams, the one who drove it at the end.. One of my best mates dads, that is :D
Oh, how we laughed at his peach overalls ;)
Mental, absolutely mental, go the Brits!!! :D :D :D :D
Theyve just blown the Yanks and French into the weeds in the test flights, fantastic :D :D :D

Great! Always first with the inventions. Pity we can't capitalise on them though.
I reckon that the British aircraft could have flown and flown and flown and............................................... .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .............then still have landed on the finish line.
To quote the Americans "we kicked a**e"
Landing on the red line should have been easy for the British...circle aroun and land ALONG the line! Easy :)
It was a very cr@p test IMHO. I mean, the Yanks could just have taxied accross the dessert and just stopped on the redline to win!!
Surely some sort of figure of 8 test with control and speed being monitored would have been better???
And dont forget lads, its Top Gear at 8 :D

Racing a plane against a car - how deeply, deeply cool is that!!!
Saw a thread on here a while ago about mass and its effects on performance - well now we know what happens when you let a bunch of crazed Cornish mechanics? loose on a car... could have lost a few more kilo's by stripping the paint off

A bit of a dubious claim by the fat man, 6 kilos weight reduction per speaker!!
