s13 front bumpers

hi guys can you swap the s13 front bumpers from a pre- face lift to a facelift bumper?how hard is it also what work would be involved?

Pretty much a straight swap but you'll need the extention peices from the bottom of the front wings that go with the facelift bumper. You'll also need the sidelights/indicators from the facelift bumper too.

Removal isn't too difficult, 4x10mm bolts on the slam pannel, 5x10 mm bolts holding the bumper to the front wings at each side (arch liners need to come off to get to them and the bolts tend to snap VERY easily). There's another 4x10mm nuts holding the bumper to the bumper support bracket on the underside of the bumper (in the radiator opening). You'll also need to remove the undertray if you still have one. Sidelights will need to be disconnected to get the bumper off too... you can undo the 2 screws on the front of the sidelights and pull them forward and unclip them or if you're double jointed and have 14" long fingers you might be able to reach the connectors from behind the bumper.
