Hi,
does anyone have access to or could borrow or could recommend somewhere we could get a mobility type car where you can put someone straight into it in the wheelchair.
What we need is for my nanny to be transported from either Liss or Petersfield Hospital to Creekmoor, then poole crematorium and on to the harbour heights hotel (probably) and then transported back to either Liss or Petersfield Hospital later in the evening.
This would be on Thursday 1st march for my dads funeral service at 2pm.
Her mobility would normally be ok as up until last weekend she was fairly independently mobile, however she has had a fall and hurt her ankle and then not long after my dad passed she had a very strong TIA or a stroke and it looks like she wont be mobile enough to get into a normal car by the time of the funeral.
Just thinking that as we are all about transport and things someone may have such a vehicle at their disposal whom we could pay their costs and a good few beer tokens/apex tokens on top :thumbs:
If not we can ring round for a mobility taxi service or something
