Hey all - I've got a training course in Bath next week - Can someone recommend me a car park i can park in that's
a) safe for my SX, and
b) that i can get a reasonably low car in?

Last time i tried to park on a course i ended up stranded due to shpeed bumpsh :wack:

cheers all

Hope you like paying lots of money... or are they paying you expenses?

Whereabouts in town is the course being held and what sort of time will you be getting there? :)

Expenses :D

It's at a company called Civica (Used to be called Flare) on King's court, Union St :) Need to be there for 9:15 (going to be fun leaving here for then :wack: ) but i'm not averse to walking.

Yup, damn right they'll be paying my expenses!

Guaranteeing parking at that time of day is going to be difficult but there is a car park in Manvers Street next to the Police Station. Its multistory but street level and basement. If you can get a place at street level you would be OK.

I'd tempted to Park in the Bath Spa Hotel and get a cab down - you did say you had expenses :D. Not sure it opens on a weekday but the cricket ground might be OK too.

I'd park in Avon Street personally - it's where I park every day for work (gotta love free Council parking permits :D), and it's probably the biggest multi-storey in Bath so you should have no problems getting a space at 9am. It's also pay-on-exit (unlike Manvers Street where you'll have to guess how long you'll be there)

The only thing to beware of is if you have a fairly low front splitter it might catch at the bottom of the down ramps, just take it slow and you'll be fine :)

It's here (car park circled in red, Union Street arrowed):

No worries - if you get some time out for lunch and you get bored then give me a shout, I work in the centre of Bath so we could go to the pub or summink :)
