Looks like I'll be able to give this away this year. :D

It's quite amazing how teams can play so differently a week apart; Italy caused England loads of trouble depsite last week's routing, and Scotland we're pretty awesome today after their kicking last week.
No backs to break the gain line:no:
Forwards gave it a good crack again but the lineout was useless:whip:
Scotts played well so fair enough:indiff:
Wales were shite! Forwards lost too much ball backs when they did get the ball failed to impress really dissapointed I think we will be battling with Italy for the wooden spoon and I had such high hopes

wooden spoon for us
/me is very disapointed with the game in general. both sides played very poorly.
wales scrum was awful as was the line out, it was generally a very bad game, i thought i was watching club rugby, in fact i have seen better club rugby games.

That was a shocker. :(
I reckon Wales were still knackered after the Ireland match (which was feckin' awesome, despite the scoreline).
i didn't see either games :( i was playing at the time. from what i have heard, wales and scotland were shocking??
wales took off my best mates brother (james hook) because of a dead leg and i was told by mike (who spoke to james after the game) they needed for impact through the centre!!!
as for england, what can i say? johnny wilko has been out of the international scene for 2/3 years and too come back and change a team round to winning ways is amazing!!
i fear tho if we had no wilko, would england win a game?

TBH Hook, good though he is, is a bit out of his depth at this level still at the moment, I don't think it would have made much difference if he had stayed on, and Shanklin who they brought on to replace him played well and saved a try; that said he's definately going to be a star unless he loses concentration, a-la Henson.
Scotalnd although not really penetrative totally dominated the game.
The england game was dire really, Italy played pretty well, very strong forwards - but england were mediocre, again.
henson is gay - end off.........
he was only made big by putting a hit on the rookie 13 when we played wales a few years back

well, what a completely BORING game of rugby yesterday. no try's, all bloody penalty points.
an that czesak (probably spelt wrong:wack: ), what a waste of skin in a welsh kit, talk about butter fingers :smash: the guy is utter shite:nod:
i say that ryan jones and mark jones played very well, especially marks tackling.
i reckon wales need to wake up and realise that they need try's not penalties, and they also need to play alot better imo, that new coach jenkins need to sort his team out for sure.
Agreed Czechai however its bloody spelt is useless what the hell is he doing to be in that welsh side, shane williams please come back asap!!!
Our centres hook and robinson tried hard but were out of their depth, Mark Jones and Kevin Morgan tackled their hearts out and were excellent, our forwards were average, our scrums looked like they were struggling which didn't happen against Ireland, and our Lineouts were appauling!! It was like watching the local village team at times shockingly bad!
Our defence was a lot better in general from the ireland game but our attack was non existant! If we can put the two together we might turn in a good performance:thumbs:
IMO, and i dont follow rugby or play/played it, the line out was our downfall yesterday. Surely, with all the lifting etc, it should be fairly easy to throw it to one of your own team??
At this rate i should be able to get PLENTY of tickets for the England game :)
as this seems to be the 6-nations discussion area
Welshies were poor yesterday, and i was very disappointed with the 'boyo's' performance - but:

as an Irishman i'm fcuking gutted - the Grand Slam's gone to fcuk:cry:
superb game of rugby again:notworthy:
we were so robbed:(
i agree i thought it was over aafter tha penaltie, but alsa you was robbed try in the 79th min ouch
You must be sick as a dog!! having the game snatched away in the closing minutes!! Its a shame as they really battled well with the french, I hate to say it but France for a possible grandslam now!! Can't see the welsh beating them out there, and england won't do much now they had their one huge performance hammering the scots!

Today's game was definately a good 'un.
After 25 mins I thought it was going to be a humiliation, but definately a tense 2nd half.
Most enjoyable.
England for the Slam! :wack:
yes - i think we will win the grandslam. i don't feal france has what it takes to beat us.
gutted i missed it again. i was out surfing............
gutted i missed it again. i was out surfing............Try working instead of surfing
I think Wales will beat France some how because the last 2 times we have travelled out there we have beaten them, I think England will fall to Ireland, therefore no grandslam or triple crown,I think England or France to win the 6 nations as top team highest points/trys scored etc

Gutted for the Irish, but what a great game - especially the second half.

Considering you didn't see either of the games this weekend I'm not sure how you arrive at that conclusion.
I'm all for England winning, but I don't see how unless they play much better than they have already; lets not forget they have only had 1 good-ish game in the last year, in the Italy game they looked like they were back to thier autumn test standard.
From the games I've seen (5 of the 6) in this 6 nations I think England will struggle against Ireland and get hammered by the French - but as they say 'it's a funny ol' game'. :)
