from the 80's and very early 90's :D

just heard "this monkey's gone to heaven" and "wave of mutilation" again for the first time in ages........ still brings a :) to me mush :)

gotta be one of the funniest bands ever

I was well into The The for a while. I think I must've almost worn my Dusk cd out - might have to put it into the changer now as I've not listened to it for ages. Very dark album though. Quite like Mind Bomb too.
Who knows what that Pixies song is with the whistling? Sounds a bit like a wolf whistle. I've never got that tune outta my head after all these years and still don't know what its called!
10,000 Maniacs were a band I really wish I'd taken the time to listen to a bit more. Anybody into them?

The the, 'Dusk' lurve it :D Ebay's a good source these days.
Great soundtrack's for moody 30' somethings :rolleyes:

101cd.com tends to have loads of older stuff if you have problems finding it elsewhere.

You cant beat 'Infected' though, cracking album. The previous album 'Soul Mining' is also damn good, especially the track with Jules Holland on piano, 'Uncertain Smile'.
