Just a few questions about obtaining your drift licence:

How do you go about getting it?
Whats the criteria consist of to pass the test?
Can i use my own drift car?
Rough Guess-timate on cost of the test?
Does anyone know any dates/circuits where i can go do it?

Ive already done my ARDS test, done some saloon car racing and have a normal circuit racing licence so general motorsport rules/regs are not a problem. Will this help me obtainn my drift licence?

Cheers guys

I have actually looked on there but didnt find everything i was looking for and also found the information to be a bit scattered around the forum.

So, i thought id start a thread on here for my own and anyone else's benefit on :sxoc: .com who's thinking of doing their drift licence and to keep all information contained in 1 thread rather than all over the place.

Keep the good info coming:clap:

well you need to fugire out which comp you want to entre

e.i edc or ukdc or euro drift

you need a defferent licence for each one.

you use your own car to get the licence as long as its up to the regs stated for the comp

each comp runs Practice/licence days of which you pay a fee for.

to gain a licence you have genrally to run a set course using the right clipping points and lines.

If you have a EDC license I think you get auto license on the UKDC.
And if youre that good, Im sure Eurodrift would oblidge with an auto license too :)

:nod:You still need to apply for a UKDC license but will get it without an assessment if you hold an EDC license.
