View Full Version : Moral Dilema!
Ok. For last two days, misses has been trying to get me to take her shopping. It's going to cost, be boring and be cold.
She is new to the town and is only aware of the 'normal' shops, and I have (genuinely) forgotten to tell her about the huge indoor mall. Tonight is late night shopping.
Here are the facts:
It's cold and wet
She hates walking and the cold
I'm on call-out
I hate shopping.
With that info, please vote on my options.

If you tell her about the mall, will you be able to tempt her away again with the offer of a nice meal out somewhere that isn't the mall?
Cheers, Phil
Same problem - wife wants to go shopping & I fcuking hate it.
How about you have a really important meeting like the one I'm in right now :D :D :D

That'll cost me even more! *prepares for an expensive evening*
She's even buttered me up with a pre-shop shag :D

a) Yeah, but at least you get some enjoyment out of the meal.
b) Too much information!

Oh, Irony.
Spent over an HOUR trying to get a parking space in central Norwich. Found one. Walked for literally 3 minutes. Got into the first shop and... PAGED!!!
Dropped misses home and at work waiting for Oracle to call me. ho-hum

The 'mall' in norwich isn't that big, i would say bigger than average, but most is outside.
just go and get a takeaway instead!
Next time, take her out, then tell her that you need to go off and buy her present. Quick trip to Boots or wherever (to buy her a pressie, for appearances sake), then you can arrange to wait for her in a pub/restaurant/cinema/ etc :D

HA!
You can rely on a woman to be more devious than a room full of blokes...
Typical
:)
