Got offered some by a lad, i can modify the subframe as long as there is no welding, otherwise i will prob just go for recaro's and sort out my own sub frames

Those seats had S13 runners 'made to fit' the Skyline seats.

If you get the bases with them you can just redrill one hole I think and (if it were me ;) ) put another plate over the top for good measure.

Well I have an R32 subframe in my S13, and 3 of the 4 mounts line up perfectly, its just the back mount near the door needs extending by about an icnh or so to meet up with the bolt hole in the floor.

3 ways around this are.

1) A piece of steel bar with 2 holes drilled in it. Bolt one end to the subframe and the other to the car

2) Weld a piece of steel bar over the end of the subframe and bolt it to the car

3) Not bother and do the other 3 up real tight :wack:

Hmmmm, nice seats !

I think Bride rails work with them as well, but they are mega money.

You do have to be careful with the way the seat is positioned, if it sits slightly skewed, you'll sit funny in relation to the wheel and pedals, which can cause you a shoulder and/or back injury (like my other car did to me!).

Err, do you not understand?

The S13 rails wont bolt to the seats afaik. THESE seats in the pic have S13 runners/frame on the R33 seat rails.

And facelift/S13/S14/S15 all have the same mounting points

Yeah im thick

But then again if you asked me to fit a kitchen or build you a conservatory, id piss it, because i know how too!

All i asking is that the GTR seats will go in a S13, with how bad a modification?

After reading Turbo Tastics post, he has said that the R32 rail will nearly fit so surely the rails aint that far out.GTR seats on 32/33 rails should fit with little modification then :)

The R32 and R33 subframe have identical mounting points. The seats themselfs are also almost identical, but I like te look of the R33 ones better. :)

As mentioned above, 3 of the 4 mounting points line ut perfectly, the fourth one is held down by half the head of the bolt if you know what I mean. Should be good enough.

If you're worried, you can thread a huge washer on the bolt to hold te subframe down.
