Hey, just wanted to introduce myself to you all, for the most part, probably as im gonna be needing so much help and guidence over the next few weeks as i try to sell my FTO GR i'v had for the past 4 years in order to buy my first slivia S15. Hoping to view a few this weekend and have one sitting on the drive before the end of the month.
Bye the way, if you know anyone interested in buying an FTO, pls let me know. Cheers
my uncle was a fto lover. he had one for a couple of years and swore by them and was sorry to see it go but work commitments meant he had to have a deisel so he bought a rover 600 deisel
they do handle pretty well though and sound pretty good.

Hi,
Nah, the GX is the 1.8. THe GR is the 2lt 24Valves DOHC na d the GPX in the mivec engine. Theres only around 12bhp difference on the standard car, so with the few mods i made to exhaust and air intake it was more or less around the same. Proble is afte having a car for so many years, i became reluctant to carry out an major mods, partly through lack of cash but mostly cuz i was always thinking of changing. So im determined to make my next car more of a project

HELLO !
Theres only around 12bhp difference on the standard car, so with the few mods i made to exhaust and air intake it was more or less around the same.
As an ex-GPX owner, allow me to be first to say there's a bit more than 12BPH difference  Even heavily modified, there's still 0.5s difference in the 1/4mile time.
Still, they're damn nice cars ! The Silvias are very different, I'm sure you'll enjoy the change! I sure do! :sxoc:
