Didn't watch the program, so can't comment.

My sister lost her leg in a bike accident in 1996 - she was only 28 and almost died - so bike accidents curdle my blood anyway :(

I don't think I know any serious bikers who haven't got bits of metal replacing parts of their legs.... fun but just a bit toooo dangerous

Hmmm, Motorbikes..

Me and my old TZR250 Reverse Cylinder parted company (highsided me) at 115mph on the Findon Bypass (like Boxhill/Mickleham only twistier).

I trashed the following: (the bits I can remember)

Both Collarbones
Right shoulderblade/socket
Right arm in three places
Left arm in one
Left ankle
Right wrist
Right Leg in two places
Nearly kneecapped myself
Seven ribs
My nose
Severe concussion
Puntured lung
internal bleeding
2nd degree burns to my arse and back

Spent nine weeks in hospital, and further 8 months on crutches

8 years later, I still have physio on the knees

I was/am the luckiest swine alive, and haven't ridden a bike since.

My mate who was following on his RGV250 stopped riding as well.

Don't talk to me about ruddy motorbikes
