i would like to think so

we have around 20 NI users who are regularly on here, even more in the south. we need a minimum of 8 for the tournament go-karts :)

only a few people have responded/voted, i'd like to let it run for a few more weeks before closing the poll

it might not be at eddy irvines, i was thinking of somewhere more central (depending on numbers and where they are located)
as said here:
http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=257272

its £35 for a grand prix, but that gets you a lot of track time ;)

I would love a rolling road day to see how my car is performing as standard. But go-karting would probably be good too. RR day first then karting in july or so :)

eager

Also, to make up numbers im sure everyone could grab a friend and tag along for the karting. As long as that falls within the rules and non sxoc memebrs at meets

although its not on the list a track day would be awsome although the costs would probably be a bit scarey :) , a rolling road day it is for me  as eager says karting could be pretty good in the summer maybe in the out door place, portadown i think its in?

EDIT: ps i really need to sort membership out soon lol

if we have an RR day it would maybe need to be a joint one with another OC, mr2, scooby etc as they aren't going to do any discounts for 4 people :wack:

anyone have any mates in another club?

eager

mate in a p1 scoob will go to one...but he is gettin serious work done to his engine at the min.

There is a rr day on sat 10th feb which a lot of us are going to, and i just got the car so i wouldn't be up for a track day (changing from a 1.8 almost standard ford focus to a 340bhp rwd beast take a while to get to grips with) so i'd be up for the karting, and it means no one writes their cars off going broadside into a barrier,

who has the fastest karts cause most places i've been they're very slow (plus i'm a big fella which doesn't help)

if the meets on a sunday we could go to the meadows car park in portadown, its always pretty lively on sunday nite or

if its a sat there is banbridge car park which is usually pretty lively and there is always a few 400bhp evo's (there is 4 of them in banbridge with anti lag etc putting out approx 400bhp) and a few skylines

apparently the karts in the place in portadown (link on this thread somewhere) are quick enough

no mate when we organise SXOC meets they are kept to ourselves, i.e not at a cruise, and definately no street racing

sorry about all that didn't mean to offend anyone,

i do go to the car park in banbridge now and again cause i have mates who are always there and its about 300m from my house and portadown cause i work there now and used to work in halfords in craigavon so i always have a few mates floating about portadown as well

and to set ur minds at rest i'm not now nor have i ever been one the idiots who rake the guts out of there car everynite and go round every corner with there handbrake on nor do i sit in the middle of the car park doing donuts, i am more the type that sits in a line of cars chatting with mates and drooling over skylines (i would drool over 200sx's but i have only ever seen one in banbridge so haven't had the chance)

as for the sin mentioned in my previous post that i can no longer mention, i have on occasion but not where it is silly or excessivly dangerous and i don't make a habit out of it

i've been to superdrive karting it portadown, they are quickish but there are two speeds of kart they run together, one with a black engine cover and one with a red engine cover and there is a massive difference but it's still good craic, and when ur in the slow karts u just have to push a lot harder, and usually spin off cause of it:wack:

No worries man, no offence taken at all! We just have to point out from the get-go that we're not associated with that end of things..! I have mates who are into it as well so no worries! ;)

(i would drool over 200sx's but i have only ever seen one in banbridge so haven't had the chance)

Well we'll see you in a few hours & you'll have MORE than ample time to drool over the 200SX range (& I do mean RANGE) of cars!!! :D

Just had a rolling road but you guys can do whatever. If your having a meet afterward or members can spectate if the RR is chosen then I'll try my best to join the convoy.
